Thoughtful, to know and understand the difficulties faced by trekkers and the difficulties of the people living there. Jealous, thinking why we are not able to make such trips when we can (age-wise).
The idea about “civilization changing the beautiful culture of villages” is both thoughtful and inevitable.
The poetic idea that all hills are contributing to the Birendra pond is heartwarming.
The experience of trekking is interesting. But the life of society around, how it is changing (for the better) at the cost of the environment, is a routine and can be seen in many societies. However, one cannot expect the underprivileged to remain so for long. Education is catalyzing that change. The writer captured this nuance well.
Artificial కి ఏలి అన్న పదం ఉందని మనకి తెలుసు. Intelligence అంటే తెలివి అనీ తెలుసు. కానీ ఎందుకని మన పత్రికలకూ మాధ్యమాలకూ “కృత్రిమ మేధ” అంటే అంత ఇష్టం? నేను linguistic purist ని కాను. కానీ కొత్త సాంకేతిక పదాలు పుట్టించేందుకు ఉన్న తేలికైన తెలుగు పదాలను కూడా ఎందుకు వాడరు?
మానవుల ఆలోచనలే కళారూపాలకు ఎలా మొలకలో ఈ కృత్రిమ మేధస్సు నుండి వచ్చే కళావస్తువులు లేదా రచనలు కూడా అంతే. ఎవరో ఒకరు మేధస్సుకు ఆలోచనలను మొలకెత్తించాలి. .ఆపై లోకం ముంగిట పెట్టడానికి శ్రమ తీసుకోవాలి. ఈ క్రమంలో పలు సార్లు మానవుడి దృష్టి నుండి తప్పించుకోవడం దాదాపు అసాధ్యమే. కృత్రిమ మేధ సృజించిన అనైతిక కళావస్తువులు కేవలం మానవుడి అనైతిక ఆలోచనలకు ప్రతిబింబాలే తప్పా వాటి తప్పు కాదు.
చివరగా ఇది ఓ పనిముట్టు ఎలా వాడతామన్నది మన ఇష్టం.
తుపాకిది ఎప్పుడూ తప్పు కాదు అది పేల్చిన వాడిదే తప్పు శిక్ష కూడా.

I have come across this article as received attention in the British press.
We have done Everest Base Camp trek in 2022. We had a good experience. EBC is more commercialised when compared to Manaslu circuit. Annapurna circuit trek falls in between. Helicopter transport is minimal in Annapurna Circuit and almost non existent on Manaslu circuit, when compared to its wide spread use on EBC trek.
Rouge elements come in to picture, when there is over commercialisation. But in general, the guides on these Nepal Himalayan treks are people with integrity. They put their lives before ours. I have a lot of respect for them. It is sad that a few rouge elements are bringing disrepute to them.
Nice to read the details of Marconi’s contribution. In our science books, there were 2-3 sentences and the effort was not highlighted. Very interesting.

కెందామర…
నాకు ఈ గీతానికి వాడిన ఇలస్ట్రేషన్స్ చాలా బాగా నచ్చాయి.
నాకు చివరి స్టాంజా మరింతగా నచ్చింది. “నిశ్చల నీరంవంటి నిర్మలవదనంలో నీ నయనం కెందామర కన్నీరుల సరసిలో పూచిన ప్రేమ కెందామర.” ఈ రెండు లైన్లు చాలా నచ్చాయి.
నాకు చాలా వరకు అర్థంకాకపోయినా, ఈ గీతం ఎందుకో బాగా అనిపించింది. కన్నీరు, వెన్నెల, పూల ధూళి… ఇలాంటి పదజాల వాడకం బాగుంది.
నాకు తెలుగు సాహిత్యం పై పెద్దగా అవగాహన లేదు కానీ ఇలాంటి పద్యాలు చదవడమంటే ఆసక్తి. మంచి పద్యం.
