పండిట్ జస్ రాజ్ గారి అద్భుతమైన Rendition. ఎవరు పాడారో తెలియదు కాని చాల మంచి rendition. Visuals are very good and add value to the song.
I think the opinion expressed by Srinivas Nagulapalli is that what I feel after listening to the older version of T Sooryakumaari. I feel a strong sorrow feeling when I here this song. All said and I would like to thank you very much for uploading this rare recording.

రాజా నాకు తెలిసి ఈ సినిమాలో ఒక్క పాటే పాడాడు. చాలా చిన్న బిట్: “ఓ చలా అకేలా నిర్జన్ వన్ మె” అన్నది. తెలుగు “బాలనాగమ్మ” ఆధారంగా తీయబడ్డ ఈ సినిమాలో యుగళ గీతాలు లేవు.
ఇంక మీరడిగిన ప్రశ్నకి జవాబు, క్లుప్తంగా, రాజాకి, జెమినీ సంస్థకి మొదటి నుంచి వున్న మంచి సంబంధమే. ఆయనకు సినిమాల్లో మొదటి అవకాశమిచ్చింది జెమినీ వాసన్. (సంసారం – 1950, తమిళంలో; చూ: రాజాపైన ఇదే పత్రికలో వచ్చిన వ్యాసం. తరువాత కొద్ది కాలానికే “సంసారం” హిందీలో (1951) తీయదలచినప్పుడు రాజా గొంతు ఆడిషన్ చేయడం జరిగింది. అప్పట్లో జెమినీలో హిందీ విభాగానికి incharge గా ఉన్న ప్రముఖ గాయని: వక్కలంక సరళగారు రాజా గాత్రం హిందీలో ఒప్పటంలేదని అనడంతో అవకాశం దొరకలేదు. ఆ తరువాతి సంవత్సరం తీసిన “మిస్టర్ సంపత్”లో మరొక కొత్త గాయకుడికి (పి.బి.శ్రీనివాస్) హిందీలో పాడే అవకాశం దొరికింది. 1953లో, హిందీలో పాడకపోయినా, రాజ్ కపూర్ ఏక కాలంలో 3 భాషల్లో నిర్మించదలచిన “ఆహ్/ప్రేమలేఖలు” తెలుగు తమిళ వెర్షన్లకు పాడటంకోసం జిక్కి, రాజాలు బొంబాయిలో ఉన్నారు. (Check Arudra’s essay on this film production in his “సినీమినీ కబుర్లు” for fascinating anecdotal information.) చివరిగా 1954లో జెమినీ ద్వారానే హిందీలో పాడే అవకాశం దొరికింది. I don’t think that any north Indian producer”d have taken him :).
As to the “equation between Saluri and Eemani” I can’t say much. Nor do I think that there is much to say. Saluri was certainly *the* lead composer for Gemini between 1942 and 1948/49 (he did one more film: మంగళ-1951). The other two in the music department; viz. M.D. Parthasaradhi and Eemani took care of orchestration and at times background music. SS Vasan, the totalitarian, didnot duely credit the talent (not only i.r.t music but in other departments too!). During his 7 year stay at Gemini Saluri did just 4 films, for he couldnot work for any other companies.
