JUBV గారి కథ చదువుతుంటే కళ్ళల్లో నీళ్ళు ఒచ్చేసేలా ఉంది.
కవిత గారు,
పేదరికం లో, కష్టాల్లో ఉన్న ప్రతి విద్యార్థి అలాగే ఉంటారండి.
ఆ టైం లో ఆ పుస్తకం, చెప్పులు ఎంత అవసరమో చాలా స్పష్టంగా ఉంది కథలో.
అలాంటి టైం లో అక్క, అమ్మ చేసిన త్యాగాలకి వాళ్ళకి తర్వాత అది చేద్దాం, ఇది చేద్దాము అనుకోవటం చాలా సహజం.
పుస్తకం, చెప్పులు అంత అవసరం కాబట్టే కధానాయకుడు కూడా వాళ్ళ త్యాగాలకి సిద్ధం అయ్యాడు.
అదే BUS PASS కి త్యాగం చేస్తానంటే కధానాయకుడు ఆలోచించేవాడు.
కవిత గారు మీరు బహుశా డబ్బులో పుట్టి పెరిగి ఉంటారు. ఇక్కడ కామెంట్స్ రాసిన చాలా మంది ఇంలాంటి కొన్ని అనుభవించి ఉంటారేమో…అందుకే ఇది వాళ్ళని అంత కదిలించిదేమో…!!!
కథ బాగుంది. ఈ మధ్యన మా పసల పూడి కథలు చదివిన తర్వాత ఈ కథ లొ కూడా ఆ ప్రభావం ఉన్నట్టుగా తోస్తూంది. శైలి అలానే ఉంది, ఏది ఏమైనా ఓ మంచి కథ, అనుకరణ, అనుసరణ అన్న మీమాంస వదిలేస్తే.
ఈ కథ ఇంతమందిని ఎందుకు కదిలించిందో నాకైతే అర్థం కాలేదు. The main character seem to be self-revolving and egoistic. ఈయన చెప్పులు వేసుకురాలేదని తిట్లు తిన్నప్పుడు, కనీసం ఈయన వేపు చూసినా కూడా కోపం వచ్హేస్తుంది స్నేహితుల మీద….కానీ అదే స్నేహితుల పుస్తకాలు మాత్రం హాయిగా వాడుకుంటాడు (అది తప్పు అని నేను అనట్లేదు, కేవలం హిపోక్రసీ గుర్తు చేస్తున్నా)
కథలో ఒక చోట “అక్క రెండో నెల బస్‌పాస్‌కి డబ్బులివ్వబోతే వద్దనేసాను. రోజూ కాలేజీకి రానూ, పోనూ ఆరు మైళ్ళూ నడిచే వెళతానని చెప్పాను. అక్క అదోలా చూసి వూరుకుంది. ”
అంటే అక్క ఏం అనాలని ఇతని కోరిక?
ఇక కథ చివర్లో…
“మళ్ళీనెల ఒకటో తారీఖున జీతం రాగానే అక్క నన్ను చెప్పుల షాపుకి తీసికెళ్ళి చెప్పులు కొని పెట్టింది.
నాకు చెప్పులూ, పుస్తకమూ కొనడానికి అక్కా, అమ్మా ఏ ఖర్చులు త్యాగం చెయ్యాల్సి వచ్చిందో తెలియదు గానీ, ఏదో అర్థం అయినట్టుగా అనిపించి మనసంతా కృతజ్ణ్జతతో నిండిపోయింది. పెద్దయ్యాక ఎన్నెన్నో చేసి వాళ్ళని సంతోషపెట్టేయాలని ఎన్నో ప్రమాణాలు మనసులోనే చేసేసుకున్నాను. ”
పెద్దయ్యాక ఎన్నెన్నో చేసి వాళ్ళని సంతోషపెట్టే బదులు ఇప్పుడే పుస్తకం బదులు చెప్పులు కొని వాళ్ళ బరువు తగ్గిస్తే బాగుండేది!
మీ కథ చాలా బాగుంది. కోనసీమ యాస జోడిస్తె ఇంకా బాగుండేది.

The Work is really awesome and thanks to your efforts to bring this as e-Paper.
Few suggestions , the sanchikalu menu on the left side need to be re-organised , amy be grouped by years , at this instant its taking 80% of the menu space on the left side , which makes the user to really scroll down to reach the other two menus namely sheerishikalu and grandhyalaym, probably it might be a good idea to bring them up and then move the sanchikalu down in the order.
భౌతిక వాదులైన వారు “చావు” ని ఒక ఘటన గా చూడాలే తప్ప “దుర్ఘటన ” గా ఎలా చూస్తారో నాకు తెలియలేదు. చెడు సంఘటన అన్నప్పుడే ఒక “మంచి” సంఘటన కూడా ఉండాలి. పదానికి ముందు వాడిన విశేషణం అన్నది చావు విషయంలో వారికి ఉన్న సెంటిమెంట్ నీ భయాన్నీ తెలియకనే తెలియజేస్తూంది. వారి దృష్టిలో మేకా మనిషీ ఒక్కలాగే ఉండాలి నిజానికి మరి. కానీ చావుని మేక ” దుర్ఘటన” గా అనుకోదు. భౌతిక వాదులు మాత్రం అనుకుంటారు. ఎందుకో?? భౌతిక శాస్త్రం స్పందనని ఒప్పుకుంటుందా?? స్పందనలు అన్న వాటిని శాస్త్రం ఒప్పుకుంటే అది కొన్నింటినే ఒప్పుకుని మరి కొన్నింటిని ఒప్పుకోక పోవడం చేయడానికి వీల్లేదు. ఎందుకంటే వాటి మంచి చెడులతో నిమిత్తం లేకుండా స్పందనలూ నమ్మకాలూ మనుష్యులకి ఒక్కొక్కరికి ఒక్కొక్క రీతిలో ఉండవచ్చు. స్పందనలకి శాస్త్ర ప్రమాణాలుండవు.కొందరికి ఒకలాంటి నమ్మకాలుంటాయి. కొందరికి నమ్మక రాహిత్యాలుంటాయి. అంతే !!
Dr. Rohiniprasad and his ilk fantasize about ‘rational’, and ‘scientific’ methods applied to each and every discipline. I have no beef with that!
But, there are a number of disciplines in science, (soft and hard sciences) where the strict ‘scientific method’ as propounded and publicized by Aristoleons and his successors has been, of late, been proved to be a failure, if not a miserable and utter failure.
Take for example the failures of Physics, physics as we all know as the most rational of basic sciences. It could not explain several simple new observations coming from Cosmologists, the new Astronomers, etc.
I know what the”rationalists” would immediately jump to say: Given sufficient time, all the cosmological problems, problems raised by the contradictions in quantum theories and string theories, super string theories, etc., will be resolved! Actually, as one who has a smattering of knowledge in these fields, I have my own doubts. The so-called Scientific Method, and in particular, the scientific method adored and hugged dearly by the erstwhile ‘ Marxists’ and the fashionable Marxists of late, has been a failure.
Of course, there is more than the erst while scientific method. Of late, a large number of scientists are seriously looking into the so-called ” non-rational explanations” of natural phenomena!
If one sheds one’s red garb and of course the ultra-red goggles, one can see the whole spectrum of colors.
Having said this I must give my disclaimer : I am not saying that predictive astrology has to be accepted in toto. Certain aspects can be re-discussed with open mind, without imposing some ‘worn out and failed sociological’ theories on to every aspect of human endeavor.
After all, Marx was not sacrosanct; nor Mao was! Both were disowned by the neo-sociologists all over the world, except in India and in particular in AP who hang on to these beaten, but badly beaten theories. And, they still try to explain the un-explained and the un-explainable vagaries of nature, human behavior in particular, by clinging on to these obsolete theories.
Finally, I should say that Sri Naga Muarli need not fall for this kind of criticism in re: his essay. After all there are 101 ways to skin a cat, and we really do not know the best way! So is the case with Modern Physics and so is with Astrology!
