అభిశప్తుడు గారు,
పూర్వవిద్యార్థుల కార్యక్రమాలు కొన్నిహాజరైన నేపద్యంలో కలిగిన అనుభవాలనుండి అనుకోకుండా అలా పద్యం వచ్చేసింది.
మోహన గారు,
ఇది రాయక పూర్వంగాని, రాసిన తర్వాత గాని నేను సినిమా చూడలేదు.
“పాత విద్యార్థుల పేరిట కలిసే చోటుల్లో
పచ్చసిరావో వ్యాపారివో
తెలుసుకుందామనే
మన పలకరింపులు
వాసనలేని కాడమల్లెలౌతున్నాయి”…
వయసు పెరిగే కొద్ది అమాయకపు వాసనలు వదిలేసే మనుషులం మనము..!! పాతమిత్రులు కలిసినా “ఏం చేస్తున్నావు?” అన్న ప్రశ్నలో “నాకెలా వుపయోగపడతావు?’ అన్న ధ్వనే వినిపిస్తుంది మరి. చాలా బాగుంది

Indeed this is a poem of nostalgia. This gave me an opportunity to recall memories of my school days (1964-1967) with particular reference to our guru Sri.Avula Laksmana rao garu (VAJRA PAANI) from Warangal. i once again submit my humble respects to my teacher through this forum for his guidance and contribution to literature.. Thanks

I am indeed delighted to read the various interesting topics of your magazine. I congratulate you for your excellent contribution. I would like to make request through this forum . I have read great series of books on vijaya nagara history way back in 1960.( In Telugu) The books were originally written in kannada by Sri korati sreenivasapuram brothers. The series contained 20 books which were translated in to Telugu with a title of vidya nagara navala maalika.
Some of the books of the series are: 1.Devagiri durgamu 2. Devagiri patanamu 3.Kampila Rayalu 4.Towlavesawarudu.5.Rajyodayamu.
These books were part of collection at Lakshmipuram patanalayam,. Erramanzil colony, Hyderabad. I would like to share that these are the greatest books of history. Despite my efforts for the past 5 decades i am unable to get the details of the publishers and the writer who translated these great books.and whether these books are available in any library. My effort with one of the oldest library at Vetapalem has not given me any lead. I request the members of this forum whether any one can give some information .
