This brief note at best could only be a travesty of gratitude I felt for the effort you have put in collecting the rare trivia of information, and rarer pieces of audio. [I have been pestering one of my acquaintances in AIR , VIJAYAWDA acceding access to any early pieces of A. M. Raja]. I do appreciate the zeal and perseverance that must have gone into the task. Our heart felt appreciation is due, in this respect to Sri Paruchuri Sreenivas garu.
Your appraisal as to some intrinsic features of A,M.raja’s voice, has enabled us to notice the beauty and evocative virtue of the voice. In this light, I assume the I have been guided to the sublime nuances, endemic to the voice of of A.M Raja. Though the profound listening experience defies every rational explanation, I do express my gratitude to the essayists for endorsing my listening aptitude and for giving some rare pieces of information. Yet, I may be excused for my insatiable curiosity for more information regarding myriad details that went into the making of the man and making of the artist.
The Telugu Psyche cannot but equate creative nuances withe the quantum of commercial success. I pray that connoisseurs like KrishnaMohan garu and Sreenivas garu, who are free of professorial exigencies shall never succumb to the lure of popular acceptability.
