The article on Chandamama took my plesant memoriies back to my early years of seven to ten years of age ,
when I was regularly reading “Chanadamama”.
Many thanks to Sri Prasad garu for narrating the story of the great children’s magazine.

This is with reference to Mr. Venu’s comment. I understand that Acharya garu was a famed painter of the Mysore traditional style who worked for ‘Chandamama’ and in film studios in Madras and was also a drawing teacher in a high school in Kumara Park west. Perhaps some senior citizens of Karnataka can provide further information.
The article is excellent.
Chitra and Sankar were my childhood heroes. I saw Sankar’s illustrations for Mahabharatam serial in Chandamama. But for the first time I came to know about MTV ACHARYA. I would like to know more about him and his illustrations. Can anybody suggests the way?
I request Mr Rohiniprasad to write one more article about Chandamama.

మీరు సభకి వస్తే గొప్పగా వుండేది. మీరు వున్నారని నాకు తెలియదు – తెలిస్తే తప్పకుండా నేను కలిసే ప్రయత్నమైనా చేసేవాణ్ణి.

నౌషాద్ అంటే హిందీ సినీ సంగీతానికి పర్యాయపదం అనడం ఎంతమాత్రం అతిశయోక్తి కాదు. ఆయన జీవితంపై చక్కటి విశ్లేషణతో కూడిన అద్భుత వ్యాసరాజమిది. రచయిత నుంచి ఇలాంటి మరెన్నో వ్యాసాల కోసం ఎదురు చూస్తున్నాను.

గీతాదత్ నౌషాద్ కు పాడలేదనడం సరికాదు. సన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియాలో నౌషాద్ గీతాదత్ చేత ముఝే హుజూర్ అనే ఒక పాట పాడించాడు.
