My apologies for this late response. I missed your comment when it was posted. Re: your query for Korati Srinivasa puram brothers’ works, I myself read two of them “kampili raayalu” and “dEvagiri patanam” during my school days but ever since have not come across these books.

Though the authors are not lit. scholars, this paper should also be of interest to Telugu literary historians to understand why certain kaavya-s were written during this time period.

ఈ కథని ముందు చదివుంటే నాకు ఏమీ అనిపించకపోవునేమో కానీ, నేను మొదట ఈ కథ ఆధారంగా తీసిన “స్త్రీ” అన్న తెలుగు సినిమా చూసి ఈ కథకు వచ్చాను. ఇలా అన్నందుకు విరుచుకుపడతారేమో అంతా నా మీద కానీ, సినిమాకి పి.ఎల్.నారాయణ రాసిన సంభాషణలు ఈ కథకంటే గొప్పగా రంగి హృదయాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించినట్లు నాకు అనిపించింది. రచయిత రూపాయిచ్చి వెళ్ళే దృశ్యం సినిమాలో లేదు. కథలో అది చదివినప్పుడు నాకు చాలా అసంబద్ధంగా అనిపించింది, దాని వల్ల నచ్చలేదు. కథని ఇక్కడ పీడిఎఫ్ గా పంచుకున్నందుకు ధన్యవాదాలు.
సినిమా చూట్టం మీద ఆసక్తి ఉన్న పక్షంలో NFDC వారి సినిమాస్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా వెబ్సైటులో చూడవచ్చు.
