Tara
His intention to create
the unuttered sound
takes us across the shore of duality
perceived in the depths of tapas

He, the Sat
The creation is born
from that ineluctable
into that formless potential
it recedes in the end

She, the Chit
the basis of creation
the axis of cosmos
holding together
countless Stars and Galaxies

She is the Root
of creative energy
illuminates the sun and the stars
energizing and is the energy
of all the subtle divine forces

The Seers
detached from the mind
knowing Her essence,
are immersed into the shores of the self
Ordinary Men,
caught up in their persona
perceive Her multitude manifestations

Residing in Her is
everlasting bliss
Undivided commitment to
Her is liberation
She is the Vedam
being also Its meaning

May the Pranavam
the unfathomable
the inexpressible
for the purpose of meditation
take the form of Ramana, my Guru
the name and form that is dear to us

Taking root in moolaadhaaram
Making Its abode in anaahatam
She Spreads to SahasraaraM
energizing all the organs in Its path

Working through the organs
She is the cause of illusion
of the I and the ego
turning back inside,
reaching Her beloved,
She gives the experience of the self

From moolaadhaara to Sahasraraa
as breath She traverses
permeating each synoptic cell
unifying them all
dispelling ignorance
May that Light
be perceived
in the depths of our meditation

Needing no support
She permeates every atom
its absolute silence
is the true nature of Guru
Listening to Its silent essence
is True Knowledge
Her companionship
the cause of such knowledge

When engaged, or when resting
attention flows where energy resides
such is the real nature of Tapas
She tricks the sleeping self
making Its energy flow to
where attention goes
such is the nature of Her maaya

May Ramana,
the true reflection of Brahman
enlighten my spotless heart
Ramana, the light
reflects on Ganapathi who is like a wall
creating the dance of poetry

In whose contemplation is Mukti
may that Brahman,
taking the form of Ramana
engulf us in bliss everlasting

Inspired by Tara
in accordance with his experience
Ganapathi composed this verse

ఆధారే ఖలు యస్మిన్గోళానాం సహలక్షైః
బ్రహ్మాండం ప్రతితిష్ఠత్యేతన్నిస్తులసత్వే

సూర్యాదిగ్రహభాసాం యన్మూలం ఘనతేజః
యద్బ్రహ్మాదిసురాణం శక్త్యైశక్తిరుతాహొ

జ్ఞాత్వాతత్వమసంగా భాసాయశ్యరమంతే
యజ్జాలేన సమస్తే ద్వైతేక్షాల్పమతీనాం

యద్ధ్యానేనభవంతి స్వాత్మానంద నిమగ్నాః
యన్నిష్ఠాఖలుముక్తిర్యచ్ఛందోఽపితదర్థః

యద్బ్రహ్మప్రణవాఖ్యం చిత్తేధ్యాన కృతేమే
ఆశ్రాంతాం రమణాఖ్యాం బిభ్రద్భాతు మదిష్టామ్‌

ఆధారే ధృతమూలం హార్దాబ్జే కృతవాసం
శీర్షాబ్జాయ వహద్యత్పశ్చాదింద్రియశక్త్యై

దృష్ట్యాం తత్ర పరాచ్యాం యద్దేహ భ్రమకారి
ఆవృత్తంతు పునర్యత్స్వాత్మైక్యానుభవాయ

పశ్యద్వా విషయౌఘం విశ్రాంతం యదుతాహో
ముక్త్యైసంస్థిత మంతర్వృత్త్యైక్యానుభవేన

ఆత్మజ్యోతిరిదంమే బిభ్రాణం రమణాఖ్యం
ఆశ్రాంతం స్ఫురతాత్త చ్ఛుద్ధంహార్దసరోజే

యద్దీపద్రమణాఖ్యాద్వ్యాప్తం గాణపతీషు
వాణీభిత్తిషుధత్తే గీతాచిత్రవిలాసమ్‌

యద్ధన్తిచ్ఛ విజాలై రజ్ఞానం తిమిరాణి
తత్తత్వం స్ఫురతాద్వస్తారధ్యానసమాధౌ

యాతాయతవిహారై రాధారేషుచశీర్షే
సంచారం విదధానం కించాశేషవిసారి

ఆలంబేన విహీనం వ్యోమాభం పరిపూర్ణమ్‌
నిఃశ్శబ్దం గురురూపం తద్బ్రహ్మ స్ఫురతాన్మే

జ్ఞానం భాతిపరోక్షం యత్తత్వ శ్రవణేన
యత్సాంగత్యవిశేషో హేతుఃస్యాదపరోక్షే

యచ్చింతా స్థిరముక్త్యై బ్రహ్మైతద్రమాణాఖ్యమ్‌
మామావృత్య సమంతాదానందే నిదధాతు

తారానంద నియుక్తః ప్రీత్యాతస్యమతేన
అర్థాదీప్తగంభీరం వాసిష్ఠో గురుగీతమ్‌
